Toia installed long kinky twists using Afro Marley Braiding Hair by Janet Collection (colors 1B & 2).
To maintain shine and moisture, she mixes up a spray bottle of goodies:
filtered water
EVOO (Extra Virgin Olive Oil)
JBCO (Jamaican Black Castor Oil)
Sweet Almond Oil
Kinky Curly Knot Today Leave-In
Karen’s Body Beautiful Sweet Ambrosia Leave-In
Peppermint Oil (6-7 drops)
Tea tree Oil (2 drops)
Rosemary Oil (2 drops)
To create the style, Toia gathered all of the twists to the very top/front of her head on a slight angle with a ponytail holder. She then started to form a doughnut bun by separating most of the twists towards the front, rolling and tucking in a circular motion, securing with long bobby pins and voila she says! Doesn’t she look stunning?
