My workout plan is very extreme and I do it at home or around my neighborhood. By extreme I mean that most times I get it in at 2 or 3 in the morning. This of course is after a long day of teaching, completing orders, and being a wife and mom! I do try to do some form of exercise daily. It could be the 5 minute ab workout, the warm up on INSANITY or a walk with the boys around the neighborhood. I just try to keep moving!

Jenell is really taking it slow because she’s a work from home mom with an 8 month old demanding all of her attention. 2-3 days a week is her maximum right now. She prefers to go to the gym and use the cardio equipment for 30 minutes. Her favorite machine is the elliptical. From time to time she takes a 3.5 mile walk in Prospect park with her munchkin

Julian’s routine has become pretty basic lately to keep her from being burnt out. She used to do 60 minutes of cardio when she was trying to lose the larger part of her weight. She has lost 50 lbs. She tends to take it easy now and have maintained for the past several months, very well. She also used an app called myfitnesspal.com to track her eating and workout routine which was very instrumental in her weight loss. NOW: she walks at least 30 minutes, 5x a day. She had a home treadmill, but will also rotate by going to the gym, or walking outside in the fall and spring months in Texas. She recently started adding sit-ups (which she hates) because they are so necessary. She has found using an exercise ball to be very helpful. She has 5 lb free weights at home and will normally incorporate toning exercise for her arms, back and use them for squats and lunges. Julian adds that the key is to remain active daily, burn more calories than you eat and try to eat balanced. She takes the weekends off off still stays pretty active by bike riding her bike or taking trips to the mall. You have to do what works for you. Her goal is to branch into yoga, kickboxing and alternate forms of exercising in the near future.
